Hostplus members* can enjoy Insurance cover without the cost for up to 12 months of parental leave.
At Hostplus, we want to ensure your employees, our members, can enjoy the peace of mind that insurance cover brings, without worrying about the cost. Hostplus members can apply for premium-free cover during employer approved parental leave. This means they will continue to receive the high standard of Death, Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) and Salary continuance (excluding Salary Safe) cover you’ve come to expect from Hostplus; for up to 12 months, with no premiums deducted from their super.

*Members can take advantage of premium-free insurance during parental leave if they:

•             Are employed (please note, self-employed members are not eligible)

•             Have been a member of Hostplus for at least 12 months at the time of application

•             Have had approval to take parental leave, and

•             Have current insurance cover with Hostplus

How to apply
If a member meets the above requirements, simply work with them to complete the Notification of Parental Leave form and return this to Hostplus or via email to your dedicated Account Manager.
