The Fair Work Commission (FWC) today handed down their Annual Wage Review Decision, announcing a 2.6% increase to all Modern Award minimum wages. This will see the Federal Minimum Wage increase to $622.20 per week (currently $606.40) and Level 4 (trade level) increase to $724.50 (currently $706.10).
This increase will apply to all employers from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2013.
