On Tuesday 4 June 2014 the Fair Work Commission handed down the Annual Wage Review Decision, awarding a 3% increase to all Modern Award minimum wages. This sees the Federal Minimum Wage, currently $622.20 per week, increase by $18.70 to $640.90 per week. Level 4 (trade) which is currently $724.50 will increase by $21.70 to $746.20.
The increase will apply from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2014. AHA|SA Members will be provided with updated wage schedules prior to 1 July 2014.
